Our founder Winnie Krofah a Registered Nurse started Attentive Care Inc. in 2001 with the vision of ensuring that our clients receive quality care and live life to its fullest with dignity and respect in the privacy of their own home by providing qualified caregivers to provide care and home support.

At Attentive Care Inc., We are proud to be widely known by our reputation, our clients, and the community in general as a provider of quality, reliable, and cost-effective non-medical home care in South Jersey. Attentive Care, Inc. is especially sensitive to the needs of the elderly and medically fragile individuals. Through a team that embodies the same principles we uphold, we are able to fulfill the patients’ recovery plans and ensure they receive continuous care all throughout.

To start, we will conduct a one-on-one assessment with you or your loved one. We will identify the specific areas in which you will need assistance and the extent of independence you wish to practice. The assessment process enables us to create a care plan that is ideal for you and your unique health situation.

ATTENTIVE CARE INC CARES ABOUT THE SAFETY OF OUR EMPLOYEES CLIENTS AND THEIR FAMILIES.
HEALTH CORNER: MINIMIZING THE SPREAD OF COVID-19 WHILE BEING IN THE COMMUNITY ALWAYS FOLLOW THE CDC GUIDELINES:*

 Social distasting (6 ft. or more)
 Proper handwashing at all times
 Wearing facial covering at all times
 Gloves
 Hand sanitizer

Where and how can I be tested for COVID-19 in New Jersey? Who should get testing?

GENERAL INFORMATION

Testing is prioritized for health care workers and first responders, personnel in congregate living settings, those who have been in close contact with an individual who has tested positive for COVID-19, and individuals who are experiencing CDC-recognized symptoms of COVID-19:

• Cough
• Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing
• Fever (at or above 99.6°F)
• Chills
• Repeated shaking with chills
• Headache
• Sore throat
• Muscle pain
• New loss of taste or smell

Complete this self-assessment on the Symptom Tracker to learn what to do.

INFORMATION ON TESTING SITES

There are several types of testing sites:

• Community-based testing sites – These sites are open to all New Jersians, including asymptomatic individuals. Asymptomatic individuals are asked to contact a health care provider or public health official before seeking testing, as it is critical that testing supplies are available for front-line workers and vulnerable populations. Where resources are strained, testing will be prioritized for asymptomatic health care workers and first responders, personnel in congregate living settings, and New Jersians who have been in close contact with an individual who has tested positive for COVID-19.

• Local testing sites – These sites may be restricted to residents of a specific county, municipality, or to first responders. Some also require an appointment and/or prescription from a healthcare provider.

• Pharmacy testing sites – The State has authorized the more than 18,000 licensed pharmacists in New Jersey to administer FDA-approved or authorized COVID-19 tests to their customers without a prescription. Testing is available at participating pharmacies including CVS, Rite-Aid, and Walmart. Please check with your local pharmacist as testing is not available at all locations and many require an appointment or online registration. For more information, CVS, Rite-Aid, and Walmart have set up websites where you can book an appointment and find testing locations.

• Private testing sites – To access testing at these sites, you must contact your doctor or healthcare provider.

• First responders and health care workers – Both career and volunteer first responders and health care workers can also access appointment-only, drive-thru testing sites in the Meadowlands, Deptford, and

• Somerset. These sites have been opened by the New Jersey State Policemen’s Benevolent Association, in partnership with Accurate Diagnostic Labs: njpba.adlabscovidtest.com

HEALTH CORNER: MINIMIZING THE SPREAD OF COVID-19
Take everyday precautions with proper handwashing

Take everyday preventive actions:

Wash your hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds, especially after blowing your nose, coughing, or sneezing, or having been in a public place. Wash your hands after touching surfaces in public places. Avoid touching your face.

If soap and water are not available, use a hand sanitizer that contains at least 60% alcohol.

To the extent possible, avoid touching high-touch surfaces in public places – elevator buttons, door handles, handrails, handshaking with people, etc. Use a tissue or your sleeve to cover your hand or finger if you must touch something.

Clean and disinfect your home to remove germs: practice routine cleaning of frequently touched surfaces (for example tables, doorknobs, light switches, handles, desks, toilets, faucets, sinks & cell phones)

Avoid crowds, especially in poorly ventilated spaces. Your risk of exposure to respiratory viruses like COVID-19 may increase in crowded, closed-in settings with little air circulation if there are people in the crowd who are sick

Avoid all non-essential travel including plane trips, and especially avoid embarking on cruise ships.
